Why might my profile appear on TalentAI?

TalentAI may identify professionals with skills related to artificial intelligence using professional information from sources available in a professional context. This information may be used to build a Discovery professional profile and to help match you with relevant professional opportunities.

What data?

Depending on availability and relevance, and never systematically, a profile may include:

• professional identity
• job title
• company or activity
• experience
• skills and technologies
• education and certifications
• relevant professional projects or publications
• professional location
• professional contact details, only where their processing is permitted

Data controller

TalentAI is the controller of Discovery profiles. Its identity and contact details are given in the legal notice and privacy policy; you can send your requests using the form below.

Where the data comes from

This information may come from the following categories of sources:

• publicly accessible professional profiles and pages (professional networks, company websites, publications, code repositories)
• technical providers that search for and enrich professional data on behalf of TalentAI
• you, once you claim your profile

Exact source

TalentAI keeps an internal record of the exact source and collection date of each item. On request, we will tell you exactly where the information about you came from, including the name of the provider involved where this is required.

• building and maintaining a professional talent pool
• normalising and classifying skills
• enabling search
• measuring fit with professional opportunities
• facilitating professional introductions

Intended legal basis

TalentAI's legitimate interest in identifying professionals with relevant AI skills and connecting them with opportunities that match their professional activity (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). This basis is assessed for each processing activity: it does not cover every use indiscriminately.

How we use AI

TalentAI may use automated systems to assess whether a profile falls within the AI field, normalise some professional information and measure the fit between a profile and an opportunity. A matching score expresses fit with a specific assignment. It is not an overall rating or a judgement of your worth. Internal classifications are never presented as information you declared yourself.

Recipients

• authorised TalentAI staff
• companies and recruiters using TalentAI, only for profiles validated by an administrator, with no direct access to your contact details
• our technical processors (hosting, email delivery, AI services, data search and enrichment), within the limits of their contract

Contact details

Discovery contact details are never shown directly to recruiters. Introduction requests go through TalentAI. Only specifically authorised TalentAI administrators can access the contact details they need for their work. The source and status of each contact detail are kept, and contact details are encrypted.

Retention

An unclaimed Discovery profile is kept for no more than 2 years from when it was first added. A routine check of the source does not extend this period. A profile may be removed earlier, in particular if you object. After an objection, only a minimal technical fingerprint is kept to prevent the profile from being added again. These rules may be clarified after final legal review.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, objection, erasure and restriction, as well as the other rights provided by the GDPR. A request about a single item (your photo, for example) does not delete the rest of the profile. An objection removes your profile and prevents it from being added again.

Complaint

You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) or with the data protection authority of your country.
